New for our 2019/2020 Season, our Intermediate Program for youth ages 11-13 (grade 6-8) serves as a bridge between our Junior & Senior Program.  Our Intermediate participants focus on building upon their performance skills such as line memorization, character development, vocal techniques, learning harmonies, and choreography.

Intermediate participants can expect a 2 to 3 week workshop process at the beginning of the program which will help them develop skills required for the production. Following the workshops is auditions followed by rehearsals!

Roald Dahl's James & The Giant Peach Jr.

Book by Timothy Allen McDonald
Music & Lyrics by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul

January 16-18, 2020

Directed & Choregraphed by Ruth Noonan
Music Directed by Kristina Baron-Woods

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way. Based on one of Roald Dahl’s most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach JR. is a brand-new take on this "masterpeach" of a tale about courage and self-discovery.
