A Community-based Theatre Group for London

Our Primary Mandate Is To Provide High Quality Theatrical Productions For London Audiences.

LCP was formed in 1974 and ran at the ninety nine seat Gallery Theatre on York Street where the group quickly ran out of room. In 1990 the group purchased The Park Theatre and restored the original name The Palace Theatre.  The building has undergone extensive renovations to convert it into a first class 350 seat venue and in 2011 we opened the additional theatre space of the 75 seat black-box theatre named Procunier Hall, after our founding President.

LCP provides its members with a bimonthly newsletter, email updates of current activities including auditions and workshops in many aspects of theatrical production.

We believe everyone who wants to be entertained, provoked, inspired, or moved by theatre should be afforded the opportunity to do so.

We inspire and nurture individuals through volunteer and educational experiences in theatrical production and management.

We support and promote theatrical youth programs.

In conjunction with our partners we produce, present and promote high quality, affordable, entertaining theatrical experiences.

We provide extensive theatre resources for the broader community.

We own and manage a heritage venue that is a destination of choice and is available to host a wide variety of cultural and community events.
