We are grateful for your presence and excited to share in this theatre experience with you. Here are some useful tips you may wish to know before you visit the theatre.

Finding The Palace theatre

We are located on the north side of Dundas Street, a block and a half east of Adelaide Street. There is street parking near the theatre and municipal parking available behind the theatre.

Our Theatre

The Palace Theatre has two performance spaces: the Main Stage and Procunier Hall. When you enter from the main doors, the Box Office to purchase your tickets is directly to the right.  The Ticket Pick-up for pre-purchased tickets is directly through the doors, straight ahead of you.  The Main Stage is directly in front of the main doors, while Procunier Hall is to your left. We have a bar in the lobby, so come a little early and enjoy a drink before the show.  It is recommended that you purchase tickets in advance as the best seats in the Main Stage go quickly and Procunier Hall is quite intimate in size so sell-outs are not unusual.

Where can I park?

There is a city-owned parking lot which runs behind the theatre. You can enter the lot from either Elizabeth Street or English Street. New parking meters were installed in early 2018, which are compatible with the HONK app (Zone ID 2170) (www.honkmobile.com). Parking on Sunday is free, but any other time we strongly recommend that you pay and place the ticket on your dash. The rate is $0.75/hour with a daily flat rate of $4.50 and an evening flat rate of $2.50.

Alternately, you may park on the street, where parking after 6 pm and on Sundays is free.  We do not advise parking in the  TD Canada Trust parking lot.

Can I use my Cultural Access Pass?

London Community Players accept Cultural Access Passes for free admission to any of our performances.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept them if the performance is presented by another theatre company renting our facility.

What is the Community Preview Night?

London Community Players is pleased to continue our long tradition of inviting clients of social service agencies, nursing homes and other members of our community who might not be otherwise able to attend theatre, to come to our last dress rehearsal. We do not charge admission on that night. If you are a member of a group that might like to join us, please contact the Box Office.

Do you sell gift certificates?

We sell Flex Tickets, which can be converted to a specific show, on a specific date, by the person who has them.

What does “Will Call” mean?

“Will Call” means that the tickets will be ready for you to pick up when you arrive. (You will not receive a phone call.)

Do you sell food at the theatre?

We have a licensed concession which sells wine, beer and spirits, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. including coffee and tea.  We also sell snacks (candies, chocolate bars and pretzels). You are welcome to enjoy your refreshments in the theatre.

How soon should I be there before a show?

The building opens one hour before the show starts. If you already have your tickets, or have ordered them, arriving one half hour before will give you plenty of time. If you need to purchase tickets, we encourage you to arrive one hour prior to show time.  We recommend calling well in advance to purchase tickets because the best seats in the house sell fast for the Main Stage, and in the more intimate Procunier Hall sellouts are not uncommon.

What happens if I’m late?

Our shows start promptly at the time indicated on the ticket. If you are attending a Main Stage show, the House Manager will seat you in the back of the theatre in a suitable break in the performance. If there is an intermission, you may take that opportunity to move to your assigned seat. If you are attending a show in Procunier Hall, unfortunately we will not be able to seat you once the show has started.

I’ve bought tickets, but I can’t come to that performance. Can I get a refund?

We do not refund tickets. If you cannot use the tickets, call the Box Office during business hours and arrange to exchange the tickets for a future performance. There is a one dollar fee per ticket for this service.

Still have questions? Don't hesitate to call our Box Office.
