A Raisin in the Sun

  • Main Stage @ The Palace Theatre 710 Dundas Street London, ON, N5W 2Z4 Canada (map)

Written by Lorraine Hansberry

Directed by Martin McIntosh

Presented by the London Community Players

"What happens to a dream deferred? Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun?"

 - Langston Hughes (1951)

Sacrifice, trust and love among the Younger family and their heroic struggle to retain dignity is a timeless story of hope and inspiration. The play is a relevant now as it was when it opened on Broadway in 1959.
