Elizabeth’s Night at the Palace

Our heartfelt thanks to all of you! We asked you to "DIG DEEP" at Elizabeth's Night at the Palace, and you did! Thanks to your generosity, the event was a huge success! Together we raised $44,438.70 for the London Community Players restoration project.

Imagine a reigning monarch dropped in unannounced at your favourite pub on a Saturday night. Would there be momentary mayhem, raucous revelry, bawdy behaviour or beguiling looks from the ladies?

On April 30th, 2016 guests at the Palace Theatre had the opportunity to find out for themselves, with special guests: Queen Elizabeth the First, William Shakespeare, and an outrageous assortment of other intriguing characters.

With our own Procunier Hall transformed into the Boar's Head Public House, live music, Silent and Live Auctions, Draw Prizes, and a fabulous dinner on the Main Stage, it was not an evening to be missed. But don't take our word for it! Here is what some of our guests had to say:

Thanks for a great evening on Saturday, the food, costumes, music were wonderful. Dinner on the stage looked splendid.

Amazing job done by all! I spoke to many people and they all agreed that expectations were blown completely out of the water! The dinner on the stage was extraordinary, as was the pub and all the costumes.

What fun! You do know how to throw a party, and The Palace looked truly amazing last night. To the legions of volunteers, the fabulous organizing committee and all the incredible people who so enthusiastically embraced the theme - KUDOS on a fabulous night.
