NEW this year to the LYTE Program, we are introducing our Junior Musical Program! This program gives members of our Junior Company the opportunity to audition, rehearse, and perform in a musical.
✩ WINNER! 2012 Children’s Musical Theatre Festival, NYC ✩
Inspired by “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”, The Grunch tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy 6th grader who always feels like an outsider. When the entire school gets excited about the annual school musical, he comes up with a perfect plan to ruin it for everyone; he’ll steal the sets, costumes and lights the night before it opens. But will the spirit of theatre prevail?

Members of our Junior Company will have the opportunity to audition and perform in the Senior Main Stage Musical: OLIVER! over March Break through our NEW Junior Opportunities Program.
LYTE will be taking approximately 10 kids from the Junior Company to perform in OLIVER!. Decisions on who will be in OLIVER! will be by audition only, and there is no additional cost for the Junior Company members who are selected.
Juniors involved in OLIVER! would be required to attend all Saturday rehearsals from 12:30pm-4:30pm beginning in January 2018, and be available all of March Break for additional rehearsals and performances.
LYTE’s Subsidy Program
LYTE strives to provide a professional quality theatre program for youth. We also believe that every child should have access to a theatre education, regardless of family finances. Our subsidy program was designed to assist parents with registration fees by deferring a portion of these costs.
Subsidies are determined on a case by case basis. If you require a subsidy for one of our programs, please email Program Coordinator Ruth Noonan for information.
